The waiver authority given to the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) in SB 302 mimics the statutory language that already exists for DPI oversight of public schools. There are number of situation where this waiver authority will impact our school.

Please understand that out fiscal year for the Parental Choice Program ends on June 30. DPI cannot act until the bill is signed into law. This may leave very little time to make adjustments based on the guidance from DPI.

We ask for your consideration to quickly schedule SB 302.
